Golf Event Benefits Colorado Children and Seniors

The Inaugural Waste Connections of Colorado Golf Tournament on September 25, 2020, raised over $30,000 to benefit area children and seniors at the Colorado Miners, JAM Basketball, Senior Hub, and Westminster Public Schools Foundation.

Welcome to the inaugural Waste Connections of Colorado Golf Tournament for charity.

The Waste Connections of Colorado team, vendors and friends gathered at the Colorado National Golf Club in Erie to give back to Front Range communities while having a little friendly competition. The charity event was sponsored by 21 generous companies and Sierra Container Group was the presenting sponsor.

Westminster Public Schools Foundation

“The Westminster Public Schools Foundation’s mission is to create partnerships and programs to improve students’ achievements, encourage life-long learning, and build opportunities for a bright future for the students.

Westminster Public Schools is a diverse community with students coming from all walks of life. A significant number of our children come from low-income families and some are even homeless. Many of our older students work 20 hours a week while still in school. We know their stories and are inspired by their perseverance. For some of these students, the challenges seem almost insurmountable, but we know that is not true. The Foundation, with the help of the community, changes lives.”
